Metallica, Rob Halford, Motörhead y más bandas graban un tributo a Dio

La fundación Stand Up and Shout fue creada en 2010, tras el fallecimiento de Ronnie James Dio, con el objetivo de recaudar fondos para la lucha contra el cáncer. Para colaborar con esta asociación, Metallica, Rob Halford de Judas Priest, Motörhead,Scorpions y Anthrax, entre otros, publicarán el próximo 1 de abril un disco tributo al ex Black Sabbath, titulado This is your life.

El álbum, cuyos beneficios irán a la fundación, incluirá 13 versiones de temas del metalero, que incluyen, entre otros, A light in the black y Tarot woman, de Rainbow,interpretadas por Metallica o Startruck, que corre a cargo de Motörhead y el cantante de Saxon, Biff Byford.
